As Jesus is moving towards the conclusion of his Sermon on the Mount, he issues a warning. Watch out! He calls his listeners and us, to watch out for false prophets. A very real danger that we face is that of being led astray by those who purport to speak on behalf of God but who in fact do not. We need to be alert and aware, and we need to discern carefully and wisely so that we avoid this serious pitfall.
