The apostle Paul once more gets autobiographical, describing for his readers his passionate pursuit of knowing Christ more — both now but ultimately and most fully when this life is over. His desire is that the Philippians — and us — would follow his example and live our lives very intentionally, aiming wholeheartedly at knowing Jesus.
