Hosea 13

In Hosea 13 we are forced to wrestle with what is a difficult and unpopular topic, namely, the wrath of God. Here we see that Yahweh becomes the enemy of his people because of their persistent and stubborn rejection of him as their God. Though sobering, this text and its message to us is of great importance. It sheds important light on the character of God and the magnitude of his love demonstrated at the cross, and consequently should have a profound and positive impact on our lives as human beings.
