In these verses, we continue to move into Paul’s letter to the believers in Rome and what we recognize is his deep commitment to and passion for the life of faith. Paul is firmly fixed to the life of faith in Jesus. It is at the centre of his life and drives all that he does as a follower of Jesus and an apostle. Though Paul’s calling was, in some ways, unique to him, yet he is an example for each of us who have surrendered our lives to Christ as well. May Christ so shape us that we too are firmly fixed to the life of faith.
