In this message we explore a story that is likely familiar to many of us, the story of Jesus’ feeding of the 5000. As we will see, it is ultimately a story about the identity and the mission of Jesus but there is another detail to which I want to draw our attention. A little boy shows up and gives his lunch to Jesus and Jesus performs an amazing miracle. This small detail proves to be an invitation to each one of us. We are invited into a bigger story, the story of what Jesus is doing in this world.
