In this psalm of David we are instructed in true confession. Our eyes are opened to both the seriousness of sin but also the glorious mercy and grace of God, and the joy that awaits all who respond in true confession. Stepping into the light, honestly and vulnerably owning our sin, brings the greatest of joys for in doing so, we receive the forgiveness of God through Jesus.
