In this message we take a closer look at a passage that most people skim over quickly or skip altogether in order to get to the real action — Matthew’s Christmas story. Yet, if we look close enough at these verses, we discover that, far from being boring and irrelevant, God has much to reveal to us in the story before the story. He is working through history, using and including broken people, to accomplish his purposes for redemption and blessing.
