Being Those who are Persecuted

In this, the eighth and final beatitude, we encounter the hard words of Jesus with which he announces blessing upon those who are persecuted because of righteousness. In this message we explore why and how those who follow Jesus can rejoice and be glad in the face of whatever kind of opposition they might face on account of Jesus. The answer, no surprise, is found in the glorious gospel that Jesus came to announce.
