Luke 6:27-36
"Love Without Limits"

Jesus moves on from describing the character of his kingdom people, to describing their conduct.  In this passage we encounter a profoundly challenging imperative, “Love your enemies.”  Far from merely providing us with a list of behaviours his disciples can do and "check off some box,” Jesus goes deeper and calls his people to love like he has first loved us.  Understood this way, we find that we are called to always be discerning in every relationship and every situation, how we can best “do good” to the other, for the sake of Christ.
